Delivery terms

 

Local deliveries will be carried out using our vehicle mounted crane, all other uk mainland deliveries will be via a tail lift vehicle using a hand pump truck to manoeuvre the goods into place unless arranged otherwise with our office.

 

 

 

Please run through the checklist below before placing your order –

 

There is enough access for the vehicle to drop the goods at the kerbside of my property.

 

The ground and surroundings to the front of my property are flat, level and solid to allow the pump truck access to my property.

 

 

 

I am available to take delivery of my goods. (If you are not able to be at the property for the delivery we can arrange for the delivery to be completed without a signature, however, the driver will only drop the goods in an area with safe and solid access. Central Aggregates cannot accept responsibility for theft or damage to goods delivered).

 

All pallets and bulk bags are non-returnable and the responsibility of the customer after delivery, we encourage customers to upcycle or recycle these materials where possible.

 

 

 

Returns

 

If you no longer require your goods and would like to cancel your order you can do so by contacting our sales office on 01530 275555 and speaking to a member of our team. If the goods are in transit or we are unable to complete the delivery due to access or ground conditions, a return charge will be incurred. Return charges may vary dependant on the delivery destination and the stage of the delivery process the goods are at. A member of our sales team will make contact to advise and confirm a return fee, this will be deducted from any refund due back to the customer.

 

 

 

Damaged consignment

 

At the time of delivery, the goods should be inspected, and any damage reported to the driver at the time of delivery.  If you sign for a pallet, but don't report damage upon delivery, it is assumed you are signing for receipt of the palletised goods in good condition.

Vehicle access must be available.

 

The goods must be unloaded and sited on a level and solid ground.

 

The standard collection and delivery window is between 9AM and 5:30PM Monday to Friday (excluding Bank Holidays)
